Who We Serve

The El Paso Child Guidance Center provides mental health evaluation and counseling services to people of all ages. We serve:

• Children, adolescents and families who have experienced a traumatic event like sexual or physical abuse
• Grandparents who are caring for their grandchildren
• Couples with relationship problems
• Children and adolescents who have been sexually abused
• Children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems. Such problems might include:
  -  Anger much of the time
  - Fighting
  - Problems in school
  - Withdrawing from family and friends
  - Sadness much of the time
  - Stealing and/or lying
  - Anxiety and/or constant worry
  - The death of a loved one
  - Sudden poor behavior at school and/or home
  - A divorce or separation in the family
  - Thoughts of suicide
  - Physical abuse
  - Difficulty concentrating
  - Sleep problems/nightmares
